Wot no Team for Sunderland? - Sakho out
Diafra Sakho is out of this weekend's trip to Sunderland
The Senegal international, who has barely featured for the club this season made his return to the first team squad last week in the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal but was an unused substitute at the weekend as West Ham beat Swansea 1-0 at the Olympic Stadium. And following rumours that Slaven Bilic was less than happy with the striker's condition since returning to full training, Sakho has been left out of the party that flew to the North East this lunchtime (Friday).

However there was slightly better news for Slaven Bilic after Andy Carroll was passed fit to play - as is the case with Sam Byram, who was a doubt earlier this week, and Aaron Cresswell. The trio are joined in the squad by 18-year-old defender Declan Rice, who is yet to feature for the first team.

Meanwhile club captain Mark Noble, who is ineligible to play this weekend after picking up his tenth booking of the campaign has travelled with the first team party and is expected to sit with the away fans at The Stadium of Light.

I would try and keep the team that beat Swansea

Randolph
Byram Fonte Collins Masuaku
Kouyate Fernandes
Ayew Lanzini Snodgrass
Carroll

Carroll and Sakho available
Byran and Cresswell recovering and should be available from knocks
Noble yellow card ban
Antonio, Read, Obiang and Ogbonna not available

Why the fuck are we arguing over whether we should waste time playing Callieri who is the shortest of short term fixes given he's not going to play for us any more come a few weeks?

This is the perfect match for Fletcher. Let him lead the line and set up our tactics to feed him with good service whenever we gain possession, with the likes of Lanzini to run off him.

Fletcher must watch Callieri playing and wonder what he did so wrong to end up overlooked for that sort of shit.

Injuries and fitness are a joke. Injury prone players a joke. In fact the whole club is a joke currently.

Last chance for Calleri for me. I want to like the lad, seems a nice bloke and does try but he seems to be utter gash with the odd bit of skill. If he cant perform against the worst team in the league then.....

I hope we are going to change the whole of our fitness/medical team in the summer, sick of the number of injuries or absentees we have.

I think in the last couple of months Arsenal have only beaten Sutton, Lincoln, Hull and us.
We made them look like the Invincibles

Sunderland haven't scored in 7 games and have looked absolutely clueless. I think we all know what that usually means when West Ham turn up as opponents.
They have Anichibee alongside Defoe and HAVE to go for a win.
We need to discourage them and finish this terrible season off.

I remember a time not too long ago when many here thought Sakho was the best thing since sliced bread. The bloke aint worth 2 tracksuits.

The Arsenal team looked iike world beaters against us and turned into gutless clueless yellow bellied losers against Palace

If we go into thinking we only have to turn up then Sunderland will be the latest side to be transformed by playing us.

Leroy Rosenior: “Don’t worry – Sunderland have nothing”
from C&H http://www.claretandhugh.info/

Don’t worry about tomorrow – Sunderland are down end of and they really are the worst team in the Premier League by a considerable distance.

People say they will fight – no they won’t. Don’t worry about that – they don’t fight at all. It’s a long long time since I’ve seen such a poor Premier League team.

I keep reading about Jermain Defoe but in my job at the Premier League I have to watch every team and the fact is that Jermain doesn’t have the legs to get in behind anymore.

He needs players to support and open up space for him and you know what – they’re aren’t any.

I’m really not gonna spend too much time discussing this match because how do you discuss such a poor side. Honestly Sunderland have nothing and I can’t see beyond a West Ham win – minimum scoreline 2-0.

And even if something goes seriously wrong and we only get a draw that should be enough to ensure safety.

It’s the perfect game for us after the win over Swansea and although football is a “funny old game” it’s not so finny as to expect anything other than a Hammers win.

I expect the Hammers to totally control the game and give the Hammers fans a long celebration journey home as we get ready for another year in the Premier League.

I'd rather start with 10 then play that utter prick Calleri. He's a total embarrassment to football.

Re: Wot no Team for Sunderland?
This game looks to be the best three point opportunity left to us for the rest of the season but we are almost down to 'Arry's bare bones of a squad.

Regardless of what is thought of about the selections and tactics of Bilic he has had no luck with the injury situation. I would go with dealcanvey's starting eleven with Sakho and Carroll available from the bench.

Draw.
